Pastor Mangum

Pastor Norma Mangum is the founder and Senior Pastor of Shekinah Glory Praise & Worship Center in Wilmington, DE.  As one of the leading voices of our time, she ran with the vision and through Norma Mangum Ministries, Inc. which hosts the "Calling Ordinary Women to Do the Extraordinary" Women's Conference each year.  A conference that was designed to help women discover their purpose and maximize their God-given potential and to walk in wholeness.

Originally hailing from Virginia, she relocated to Wilmington, Delaware as a young child and received her education in the Delaware School Systems.  She accepted the call to preach over 28 years ago and faithfully served under the leadership of the late Pastor W.W. Koonce of Revival Fellowship Church for more than 30 years.  In February 2008, Pastor Mangum accepted the call to pastoral ministry by establishing her church.  In February 2009, she and her congregation have come into covenant agreement with Disciples of Faith Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Bishop Terence B. Walker; making Shekinah Glory Praise & Worship Center a sister church to both Lifeline Outreach Ministries, Wilmington, DE & Lifeline Outreach Prayer Center, Randallstown, MD.

Pastor Mangum or more affectionately referred to as Pastor Norma by her congregation and the community is an 'Empowerment Specialist'; equipping and exhorting people to come out of the 'old wineskins' of passivity and to step into a new cadence of greater authority and to become expert snipers in spiritual warfare and demonic strongholds.  Helping to facilitate them in their quest for destiny and catapulting their spiritual and natural existence in extraordinary dimensions.

Her deliverance from abuse, low self esteem and poverty has qualified her to speak candidly to the real issues we are confronted with.  Her passion is to help the captive be delivered and set free.  Shes is known for her sassy and sometimes humorous preaching style, which crosses both racial and denominational lines.

When not out spreading the Good News of Salvation to the community, Pastor Mangum enjoys spending time with her husband of 14 years, her 5 sons, and her 5 grandchildren.

Currently services are being held at the People's Settlement Building, 408 E. 8th St. Wilmington on Sundays @ 10:00, Bible Study - Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm.  All are welcome!!
