 About Bishop Walker

Bishop Terence B. Walker

Bishop Terence B. Walker, is originally from Baltimore, MD and a longtime resident of Wilmington, Delaware.  As a son of a professional salesman, he was well traveled and he received his primary and secondary education in the public schools of Camden, NJ, Cleveland, OH, Memphis, TN and Baltimore, MD.  He attended college at the University of Tennessee.  Bishop Walker is married to Evangelist Shavez Walker and has 3 children, Terence (21), Shavar (19) and Jewell (15).

Bishop Walker received the Lord as his personal Savior at age 12 and was called to preach at age 18.  Bishop Walker preached his initial sermon at age 19 and was licensed to preach the Gospel the same year under the leadership of Pastor Basil Brooks of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.

Bishop Walker was ordained into the gospel ministry at the age of 20 and was leader of the evangelistic ministry and youth ministry.

He was elected as Elder in 1999 and was ordained into that post at Grace Camp Fellowship Ministries in Wilmington, DE under the Pastoral leadership of Pastor Shannon McNeil.

Bishop Walker founded Lifeline Ministries in his living room in August of 2001 and incorporated the ministry in May of 2002.  The church was officially opened in our first location at 3838 N. Market Street on June 1, 2002 and has never looked back since.

He has been an independent member of the Pentecostal Ministries of America since 2000 and was elected to the Office of Bishop and District Overseer in June 2006.

Bishop Walker is the presiding prelate of the Disciples of Faith Fellowship of Churches. In June, 2006, he founded a second church in Randallstown, MD called the Lifeline Outreach Prayer Center.  That church is under the Pastoral leadership of Pastor Willie Mae Hill.  In February 2009, a third church was added to the Disciples of Faith Fellowship of Churches.  Pastor Norma Mangum & Shekinah Glory Praise & Worship Center of Wilmington were installed as Disciples of Faith affiliates.

Additional ministries that are a part of the Disciples of Faith Fellowship are: the Ministry of Hope daily food & clothes closet that feeds families in the city of Wilmington and W.I.L.D. (Walking In Liberty & Deliverance) Ministries / Inner Change, an outreach program designed to help eliminate at-risk youth, (ages 13-23) in the state of Delaware & recently released inmates get re-established in the community.
